Reviews guide

Ask after an order is fulfilled.

Use the Journey Request reviewaction for an order-bound invitation. The action creates a secure grant for the selected Review experience and Email Template.

Prepare the source

  1. Connect Shopify or submit a confirmed merchant order from your trusted server.
  2. Choose a Review experience and a published Email Template in the same workspace.
  3. Set the Journey trigger to delivery when that milestone exists. Otherwise use fulfillment plus your chosen delay.

A page view, checkout intent, or custom analytics purchase event cannot grant a verified purchase badge. Direct Review collection can still gather a testimonial, with its verification state shown accurately.

Send once and follow the outcome

The initial request is limited to one per order. You may configure one reminder if the customer has not reviewed yet. The request link is bound to the order and expires after its allowed use. Eligibility, recipient suppression, template rendering, and send results remain separate checks.

Check the Journey execution and Review request status for skips or delivery failures. A queued message is not proof that the customer received or submitted a Review.

For Shopify stores, keep Shopify as the order-confirmation sender. The Review request is a later, distinct message. See confirmed orders for order evidence and lifecycle milestones.
